Dear Central Florida Clergy,
As a follow up to our historic Prophetic Voices Launch in April—and our deep commitment to empowering people in our communities to have their voices heard in public policy decisions—FOCUS will be hosting a VOTER REGISTRATION TRAINING on Saturday, May 19th, from 9 am to 12:30 pm at New Life Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 3239 Old Winter Garden Road, Suite 12, Orlando, FL 32805.
This training is designed for clergy and your volunteer "dream team" who will lead voter registration drives after your worship services. We will also provide training on other nonpartisan voter engagement activities, including phone banking and door-to-door canvassing to help build our organizing campaigns and defeat Amendment 3 on the November ballot.
Please come and bring your team so we are ready for our first voter registration weekend on June 9-10!
