 Job Description:

·         Install and configure Solaris and Linux operating systems and install required software (e.g. Websphere, Oracle, Netbackup etc.)

·         Upgrade operating system, Veritas and other required applications.

·         Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware and applications software

·         Provide Level 3 operational support and incident resolution. Diagnose root-cause and implement permanent resolution of complex incidents.

·         Monitors and tunes systems software, peripherals, and networks for optimal performance. Creates batch administration scripts, and run system backups and disaster recovery operations.
Working on change requests related to storage management, server hardware, network communication, and performance management on Solaris and Linux servers.
Manages all user accounts, applications, and hardware associated with UNIX-based servers.
File System and Database Backups/restores.
Maintenance and setup of file systems (VXFS, ZFS etc.).
Daily maintenance of Data-center Operations. & hardware Maintenance
Support & install agents on Active BATCH  job scheduler
