Title: SQL Application Developer

Location: Newark, NJ

Duration: 6+Months  

 

Description:

Scope of Work:
Successful candidate must have the following skills:   Strong SQL Server 2008 Strong SQL/Stored Procedure SQL Server Integration Services SQL Server Reporting Services (emphasis for this assignment is SSRS).  In addition, candidate must also possess the following skills and experience:  Strong Microsoft .NET 2005/2008.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with ATOM application end-users & ATOM application support team in the development of a pilot set of reports using SSRS
• Provide cross-training to users on basic report writing using SSRS
• Evaluate initial SSRS configuration & data model that has been developed for ATOM and make recommendations for future improvements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
• 3+ years' experience with administering physical and logical data models in an SSRS environment
• Good verbal communication skills and preferably the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Experience working in a investment management or Treasury environment, particularly with fixed income products would be helpful but not required
