{PBJFlorida} FW: I hope I am not arrested for tommorrow's showdown...

Welcome to the Wall Street of the South.

I have been in North Carolina these past two days gearing up for the Showdown with Bank of America. In a meeting Tuesday, we were informed that the city of Charlotte will be enacting their "extraordinary events" ordinance today.  This means that they will be taking major security measures for the protest with draconian laws. We were warned that we will get searched and can get  arrested  for having a backpack, soda can in hand, or holding a permanent marker. Not to mention that Bank of America has hired private para-military police for the 5,000+  protest. So things should get interesting today.

Don't worry, the JwJ delegation and I  are well-prepared to peacefully protest and not take arrests.Today's showdown with Bank of America will be epic. People from all across the country will be converging today to show how B of A is bad for America.  While we did not create this major economic crisis, now we must  bring it to the doorsteps of those who did. I am proud to do that today. I will be live tweeting and face booking so make sure to follow me @CentralFlJwJ. If you have a BofA grievance, please email me so can share it on twitter and facebook.

Also, please make sure to join us for our next CFJwJ General Membership meeting taking place:
Thursday, May 10th at 6:30pm
At the Unite Here Complex located at 1255 La Quinta Drive, Orlando, FL
Please RSVP here so we know your coming! And don't forget to bring a friend.

While we won't need bail money, you can always still make a financial contribution to CF-JwJ so that we can bring more people to share holder actions later this month !

Sincerely,
Denise Diaz
