Role : SAP Tester Location : Lawrenceville, GA, United States Duration : 6+ months Description Project Description: Gwinnett County is embarking upon a SAP CRM IS-U upgrade from Version 5 to 7. Duration: Initially 6 months then rolling 3 months. Reports To: Project Manager Experience: § Experience of managing complex multi streams ( IS-Utilities, Help Desk , Business License and Solid Waste) testing scenarios that include: o Quality Acceptance Testing o User Acceptance Testing o Interface Testing o Regression Testing across the delivery streams § Ability to create and manage complex scripting scenarios that are used at testing scenarios detailed above. § Have utilized in multiple projects testing tool Work soft § Microsoft Office Products – Word , Excel, Project and Visio Responsibilities: § The Testing Coordinator is responsible for reaching the defined and agreed testing goals for all streams (IS-U, Help Desk, Business License, Solid Waste.) Tasks: § Liaise with the Implementation team in understanding the required functionality and ensuring that this is tested to an acceptable and relevant testing cycle. § Setting up a test concept, design of test strategy according to quality goals, test activities and responsibilities, test stages and methods, test case design. § Define requirements and coordinate setup of the technical test environment, test data management, test tool selection. § Review of testing deliverables (test concept, test cases, scripts, test documentation, test reporting, error handling) and ensure that they fall within the master test execution plan (MTEP). § Successful identifying, conception and monitoring of the execution of test Processes /projects based on the MTEP . § Monitoring and controlling of the test process in terms of quality and validating the result sets. § Conception and execution of non-functional tests (e.g. performance.) § Guidance and coaching by defining documentation standards and conventions. § Coordination and administration of all test activities are aligned with Project manager's timelines. § Reuse (where appropriate) of test scripts across test phases of the project in a cost effective manner. § Produce associated assets (such as documentation and test plans) within Solution Manager § When and as required o Responsible for the development and testing of user access and authorizations to both the SAP ECC, CRM and BW systems. o Development (where needed) of Master and Transactional Test Data to assist in the testing of the replication between SAP CRM and ECC for the various streams . o Execute actual testing scripting § Automation and coordination across LoBs for : o Regression testing o Performance testing Hands-on Experience Required: § Substantial knowledge and experience in testing. § Knowledge of integration between applications and external systems. § Business Knowledge § Working knowledge of Worksoft Testing solution: storing, enhancing and executing scripts.
