Location: Durham, NC,

Rate: $ C2C per hour

Duration: 6+months

 

The key is they have to have some experience with Java, HTML, and Perl.  This is for our Professional Services group here in the Durham area of NC for Client Cross of NC.  Let me know if you have anyone!

	Immediate opening for a Performance Engineer to join our PVS QA team.  In this role you will deliver against ensuring excellence in application service performance offerings.  Must demonstrate a proven ability to execute against and engineer solutions to meet complex customer requirements across multiple system landscapes.  In-depth understanding of application tuning, infrastructure, architecture, configuration, and integration. Solid ability to work closely with clients or internal teams to assess the needs and implement solutions.  Experience working both independently or in a team in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments.  Solid background in performance and system integration.  Exemplary communication, analytical, and problem-resolution skills. Responsibilities include: Optimization of distributed applications performance. Execute against the implementation and troubleshooting of Information Systems application portfolio. Perform performance analysis. Perform benchmark profiling. Assist with performance modeling. Analyze and troubleshoot response time performance. Perform monitoring and tuning across databases, servers and storage. Execute against performance tuning. Work on data distribution. Work on web applications against multiple platforms with Java, HTML, PERL, servlets, HTTP, UNIX / C. Required: Application performance management experience. In depth knowledge of Web Services. Experience with network application performance analysis and troubleshooting. Experience with server performance management and application turning. Web App Dev languages; Java, HTML, PERL. HIGHLY PREFERRED: Loadrunner. Quality Center. Performance Center. Healthcare Industry.
